Living with Cancer Support Group
HackensackUMC Mountainside invites you to join our support group for cancer patients, families and friends. Finding your way through cancer can be a challenging and overwhelming journey. This support group offers a forum to further education, facilitate sharing among peers, and promote positive coping skills to handle the practical and emotional challenges of living with cancer.

Look Good…Feel Better
HackensackUMC Mountainside partners with the American Cancer Society to bring you this free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve self-esteem and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence. This program includes a free consultation with a certified cosmetologist for anyone undergoing treatment for cancer.

Healing Stitches
Mutual support group for cancer patients to gather weekly to chat, knit or crochet while interacting and creating projects. Families and caregivers are welcome.

Reiki Volunteer Program
At HackensackUMC Mountainside, Reiki is used as a complementary therapy to conventional medical treatments. Reiki is not a religion, creed, or substitute for conventional medical care. Reiki is a simple method of natural healing, intended to provide a calming experience which invokes the relaxation response.
