Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation is a medically supervised program for individuals recovering from a heart attack, angioplasty, stent, valve surgery, congestive heart failure (CHF), or heart transplant surgery. Participants work with a team that includes a cardiologist, registered nurses, exercise physiologists and registered dieticians to improve physical fitness and conditioning, learn proper exercise techniques, reduce risk factors, and establish and maintain proper dietary habits.

Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation

This supervised, 6-12 week exercise program meets 3 times per week. During the exercise session, your heart rate, blood pressure and heart rhythms are monitored by a telemetry system. Every participant must be referred by a physician and progress reports will be sent to your referring physician every 30 days. Click here for a more detailed Phase II Cardiac Rehab summary.

Upon receipt of the completed Cardiac Rehabilitation Referral you will be contacted for a private consultation with the Cardiac Rehabilitation staff to discuss and design your personally tailored program.
