Recognizing that congestive heart failure can be a lifelong condition, the Heart Failure Center enables cardiac patients to enjoy a setting similar to the comfort of their own homes while getting convenient, safe access to a full range of cardiac services, including:
- Physical examination
- Clinical history and evaluation
- Laboratory testing
- Infusion services
- Education
The Mountainside Hospital Heart Failure Center is led by a board certified cardiologist and specially trained registered nurses with special expertise in heart failure. Patients who require intravenous therapy are continuously monitored and observed. Our patient rooms are comfortably furnished and equipped with recliners and television sets.
