CPR and First Aid

HackensackUMC Mountainside's CPR Training Center offers a variety of CPR courses to meet the needs of our community members.  These courses are specifically designed for lay rescuers whose job requires a credential documenting successful completion of successul skills performance or just concerned parents/guardients. Heartsaver Adult / Child / Infant CPR / AED

A modular program designed to teach CPR and relief of choking for adults, children and infants.  Includes instruction on defibirilation (AED usage) for adults & children, barrier devices, the causeso f injuries and cardiopulmonary arrest in children. 

Basic First Aid

This program is designed to familairize you with how to recognize and respond to common injuries and medical emergencies, including broken bones, bleeding emergencies, burns, poisoning, asthma, seizures, heart attacks and diabetic emergencies.
