Convenient hours and easy access
Open Monday through Saturday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., our state-of-the-art facility serves four shifts of patients every day. We offer 30 hemodialysis stations, including one isolation room for hepatitis B positive patients. We are conveniently located on the ground floor of the hospital adjacent to the main lobby.
Training, experience and comfort
Our multidisciplinary team, which includes RNs, PCT, social workers, dieticians, an administrative assistant, a chief bio-medical technical expert and an equipment technician, will ensure that your treatments are comfortable, safe and convenient. With WiFi access and televisions, you will be able to spend your time here productively and comfortably.
To assure continuum of care, social workers and dieticians work regularly with outside agencies, including sub-acute and long term nursing facilities. Referrals are made on an as-needed basis. We encourage home training for peritoneal dialysis to promote transplantation through education and referrals.
Patient assignments are made as mandated by state guidelines, with a patient care ratio of three patients per caregiver. Mountainside requires at least one RN for every six to nine patients being treated, and patient care technicians all work under the supervision of RNs.
