During this one month rotation, first year residents will spend time in the primary care setting being oriented to the family medicine approach to the care of patients and involvement in the community. Residents will be involved in building their continuity panel, attending community outreach activities and practice management. Residents will have the opportunity to work with our behavioral medicine faculty which is comprised of a psychologist and psychiatrist to improve their clinical interviewing skills.
