Any established patient who sees a doctor that is using HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc may use the service.
How do I get started?
Go to www.Mountainside E-Doc.com and click Register as a New User.
How do I know if my doctor uses HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc?
Click Find Your Doctor to view the list of participating providers. To use HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc, you must have an existing relationship with a physician using HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc. If want to change to a new physician who uses HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc, you must schedule an in-office visit before communicating with them online. Physicians are added regularly.
Is my privacy protected?
The HackensackUMC Mountainside E-Doc service is completely secure and HIPAA compliant. Encryption technology and a stringent privacy policy protect your personal information more securely than either the telephone or regular e-mail. Your information is only accessible by you, your doctor, and your doctor’s authorized staff.
