Free WiFi Access at Mountainside Hospital

Anyone with a laptop, PDA or other wireless-enabled device with a standard internet browser and WiFi capability can access the hospital’s public WiFi by entering the access code mountainside. Typically, a device’s wireless connection will automatically detect the MSH Public WiFi network once the device is powered on within range of an access point. Encryption for the WiFi is set to Cipher TKIP. This secures communications between the user’s device and the access point.

Guests may occasionally encounter dead spots where wireless reception may be limited. If trouble is encountered accessing the internet or staying online, the guest should move to a different location in the hospital. Print capability is not available via the wireless connection and patients and guests are responsible for technical support of their own personal wireless devices.
