Mountainside Medical Center is proud to present Athaliah Hawkins, CMA, lead medical assistant of the Adult Health Center with the Care Award.

 

For almost a decade, Athaliah has been a committed member of the Mountainside Medical Center's Adult Health Center team. Her team members commend her for her positive attitude and collaborative spirit. She stands as a relentless advocate for her patients, consistently striving to ensure each patient receives comprehensive care and essential resources for managing their health. Her deep engagement with her patients consistently shines through and is reflected in the frequent mentions of her kindness and compassion in our patient surveys. Athaliah approaches each patient with a level of care and dedication like that of a cherished family member. Her nomination described Athaliah as someone who, “goes above and beyond to ensure that each patient is provided quality care.”

 

Athaliah has exhibited remarkable leadership capabilities, inspiring and motivating her team to excel. She ensures that each team member's contributions are recognized and valued. Recently she played a significant role in the Adult Health Center's successful performance during their inaugural Readiness Rounds.
